This bachelor's thesis deals with the problematics of the telecommunication. It describes basic elements of telecommunication networks and focuses on the communication using different interafces between the elements. This process is also known as mediation. Software tools responsible for data transfers between the network elements are rapidly evolving due to a growing functionality of the telecommunication networks. The maintenance costs are considerable and growing as well. This thesis aims to reduce these costs using automation of regression testing processes in order to produce more reliable products.

This diploma thesis deals with optic fiber connectors and their influence on transmissions realized via fiber optics. Optical fibers and lightguides play the key role in telecommunications because of constant demands of higher bandwidth and data rates. Original metalic wires do not meet market requirements and so the fiber optics are more and more being used. There are various types of fibers and there are also many ways of connections. This work deals with demountable way of connection – optical connectors, which have the biggest influence on a total attenuation and route length. Connector has to meet various requirements such as cleannes, quality, mechanical construction and ferrule polishing.

Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security in Nigeria Telecommunication Industry: Issues and Solution

Ethical hacking and cyber security are crucial topics in today's increasingly digital world. The Nigerian telecommunication industry is no exception and must take measures to secure its information systems. This study examined the issues and solutions related to ethical hacking and cyber security in the Nigerian telecommunication industry. A descriptive and inferential study design was adopted in this study. Data was collected from a primary source using a self- administered questionnaire. The study involved 62 participants from the Nigerian telecommunication industry. The study's findings revealed that the Nigerian telecommunication industry faces various issues related to ethical hacking and cyber security, such as lack of technical expertise, insufficient budget allocation, and inadequate cyber security policies. However, the industry addresses these issues by investing in employee cyber security training and certification, increasing budget allocation, and implementing strict cyber security policies and guidelines. In conclusion, the Nigerian telecommunication industry recognizes the importance of ethical hacking and cyber security and is addressing its challenges. Choosing telecommunication service providers by expats living in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor thesis deals with the consumer behaviour of generation y expats, living in the Czech Republic and their attitude towards the telecommunication service providers and the services which are offered. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part of the thesis is the literature review consisting of topics covering consumer behaviour, marketing mix, and telecommunication technologies. The second part is the practical part which consists of the research and analysis of the biggest telecommunication companies in the Czech Republic following by a deep analysis and price comparisons of the participants who conducted the survey. The last part will include the conclusion and the marketing recommendation for the telecommunication companies here in the Czech Republic and their marketing strategy towards generation y expats.

Czech telecomunications companies in chosen specialized media in 2013 - 2017

This Master's Thesis focuses on the most popular online media, which are writing about telecomunications companies in the Czech Republic (mobil.iDnes.cz, MobilMania.cz a Mobilenet.cz). The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the way how these media inform about mobile providers in the Czech Republic (T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone). The thesis reveals differences and similarities in media output of the monitored media and thus can help in a critical approach to the received information. In the theoretical part the thesis shows approach of a journalist as a mediator of information with an explanation of the main theories. It further reflects the role of a journalist as a recipient of information and also focuses more on the role of PR.The research part contains the results of the content analysis, from which it is possible to get an overview of media output frequency, sentiment or extent of use of press releases and the way they are taken over. All monitored quantities are compared across the media and mobile providers. The results show that there are significant differences how journalists rework press releases and in the overall sentiment of published articles. (in English) The thesis "Information Policy of European Union in Bangemann's activities period in comparison with USA" is devoted to the Information policy issue applied by the European Union and the United States of America. The thesis structure is defined at the earliest; afterwards the basic terms are followed. The thesis describes the European Union history, which provides context needed to be able to understand the European Union Information policy. The description and evaluation of the European Information policy in Bangemann's activities period in comparison with USA in the same time period and the possibility of mutual utilization of pros of the Information policy of both countries is the aim of this thesis. The following part is occupied with the comparison of EU and USA Information policy at the beginning of 21st century.
